Train View
This is a view from the train to Stutgart. Somewhere in Switzerland I think.

Train Vineyards
A high-speed view of vineyards in Switzerland.
Rock Passage
Some cool rock passage the train went through. This was a very pretty train ride. You really get to see the country by train.
Room in Munchen
This was my vanity in my room.
Room in Munchen
This was the rest of my room in Munich. This is a "double" because it has two "beds". I talked them in to giving me this room for a single price. The WC was down the hall.
Entry fountain
This fountain marks the entry way to the primary pedestrian walkway in Minich.
Amusement Park
This archway is the entrance to the pedestrian way. Large parts of Munich are pedestrian only, which makes for great shopping and lots of good tourism. On the right were obligatory items for an entrance to an amusement park - a McDonald's, a bank, and a United Colors of Beneton.
Churches
The architecture of Munich is MASSIVE. This is a church. Sulynn classified it as a 'building that looks like green onions on top', and that is essentially it.
Churches
Again, another shot of the size of this church.
Front Shot
The front of the church is equally impressive. It is impossible to get the whole church in one picture without a fisheye lense or something.
Almost
I almost got the whole church. You can see the top of the entry way.
Church Entry Detail
Some detail on the curch entry way.
Church Fountain
This fountain is across the plaza from the church. This was a very nice little place - very cool on a HOT day.
Residenze Platz
This building is part of the Royal Residence. The square is a 'plaza', or "platz".
Residenzplatz
Another view of the plaza.
Marienplatz at Night
Marienplatz is the main plaza in Munich for pedestrians. On the hour this clock features dancers and men on horses going around. It is quite a sight.
Marienplatz in the Day
Marienplatz just after 11:00
Here the clock is still going. It goes for a LONG time after the hour of 11:00. It is hard to tell, but the little dudes on the bottom are dancing. There are thousands of people in the squre watching it.
Dancing Clock
Here is a close-up. The little dudes on bottom spin around as they go around the center.
Market
Another large pedestrian area that is losely connected to Marienplatz is the public market.
Market view
Here is another view of the market, but does not do it justice. It is something like 4 square blocks dedicated to this market.
Evil Empire
Across from the market the evil of Seattle is invading.
Gurken
I bought this pickle from the barrel in that part of the market there. It was an awesome pickle. It cost me 0.25 Euros. I guess if I were thrifty I would have gotten 5 for 1 Euro, but then I would have had to stick them in my pocket or something, and what a scene that would have caused....

More Munich Architecture
This is another example of Minich architecture. Reminds me of the current Mormon churches in that they build them of stone seemingly to withstand judgement day.
Munich Clock
This steeple has multiple clocks on it. This one is far more effective than the messed up one they have at the University of Washington (the square one on the side). The UW one is mostly messed up because it relies on sunshine...

Commemorative Photo
Having just finished a liter of beer, 6 sausages with potato salad, and two baked pretzels, I felt compelled to take a picture of my tools of the trade.
Bird Man
Just an odd shot.
East Residenze
This is the East side entrance the Royal Residence.
North Residenze
This is the north side of the Royal Residence, on the park.
North Residence
A slightly different view of the north side.
